First OnePlus 15R & Pad Go 2 Updates Out Now: What You Must Know Today
Day-one updates for OnePlus 15R and Pad Go 2 bring optimized camera, network stability, improved performance, and new editing features in Photos app.

OnePlus has started the preliminary software updates roll out for the recently introduced OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 devices, every buyer is expected to get the updates right away during the first device activation process.
At the moment, the OnePlus 15R update is available in India with the build number CPH2767_16.0.1.305(EX01), and it will grow gradually in a phased rollout to other areas. The package includes system stability and performance improvements, power use reductions in certain situations, and Gaussian blur effects during app opening and closing upgraded. Apart from camera performance, wireless connection stability has also been improved; sharing reliability with iPhone has been increased, and overall network stability has been upgraded.
The first update for OnePlus Pad Go 2, build number 16.0.2.402(EX01), is now available worldwide. The changes include, among others, direct access to storage cleanup tools through Smart Sidebar for users. The update enhances AI summary and subtitle logic for silent periods, offers automatic straightening for cropping or rotating of portraits and architectural images, and improves thumbnail parsing in the Photos app. The update includes optimization of partial screenshot handling along with the December 2025 security patch.
The Pad Go 2 update seamlessly integrates video editing capabilities, such as cutting, splitting, multi-clip stitching, text overlays, music integration, speed adjustments, and cropping to the existing feature set. Users will now have the option to filter images and videos more efficiently in the Photos app. Additionally, a new feature has been introduced that allows secure editing of photos and videos in Private Safe without the need of unlocking them first.
